In 1951, Mike "Pop-Pop" Virgilio founded Virgilio Trucking to serve the transportation and trucking needs of New York. In 1980, he became the sole owner of Virgilio Trailer Corp., laying a strong foundation for the family's future in the industry.

His son, Vito Virgilio (the current owner), carried the legacy forward by establishing Save On Trailers in 1993, specializing in the rental and sales of containers, trailers, and storage solutions. In 1995, Vito became the sole owner of Virgilio Trailer Corp., growing the business while staying true to its roots.

Essential to the company's success are key team members like Vito's wife, Tammy Virgilio, who has been the backbone of operations for many years. With her meticulous attention to detail, she handles booking, invoicing, and bookkeeping—ensuring seamless service for every customer.
